Skincare and a fresh face

I quickly touched on my primer and foundation that I've been using the other day, but I wanted to go over what else I have been using on my face!  I have been REALLY into skincare and makeup lately.  Testing different brands at all price points, and then waiting to see if I get results....it's all kind of exciting and the more I try things the more I like them.  The biggest part of all this?  Other people are starting to notice.  People continue to tell me my face looks bright and dewy.  I am excited that other people are noticing the change as well!

I feel like the key to looking fresh and young (other than great brows!!!) is a fresh, dewy face.  Most moms I know are tired and run down, but you don't want to LOOK tired and run down. Here is exactly what I have been using to achieve a brighter, more radiant face!!

1.  Beauty counter charcoal bar.  I use this religiously every single night before I go to bed.  I lather this up really well before applying it to my face.  I usually let it sit on there for a few minutes before I rinse it off.  I figure the longer, the better, and it seems to be serving me well.

2.  I've also been using a charcoal mask twice a week.  This is a MUST HAVE and clears out all the nasty stuff including oil and dirt that are in your skin.  My face always feels radiant and squeaky clean after I wash this off.  Again, the longer you leave this on the better.  I usually leave it on for about 20 minutes.  I have tried 2 charcoal masks and recommend both!  It really just depends of what you want and your price point.  I have sampled the beauty counter mask and it is amazing, but honestly, slightly out of my budget.  Luckily Mary Kay swooped in and saved the day!  They JUST released their own charcoal mask and it seems to be doing the trick just as well.  I highly recommend both brands though!  Beauty counter mask ($48) and Mary Kay mask ($32). Side note:  I can't seem to find the MK mask online but if you have a beauty consultant, they should be able to get it for you.  I already have a tube at home so I know that the product has launched!

3.  Mary Kay luminous foundation.  I wear the color Ivory 7.  This stuff is the best and at a really good price point!

4.  Nyx born to glow liquid illuminator in 'sunbeam.' This is SUCH A GREAT highlighter.  Put a little on your cheeks and down the bridge of your nose, or add a drop to your foundation for an all over radiant look.  Bonus:  THIS STUFF IS $7.50!!
