My top 5 accessories for fall!

1.  Hands down, my favorite piece in my closet is my leather jacket.  It makes every outfit seem polished and slightly edgy to me, which I absolutely love!

2.  A great sneaker.  My favorite 2 are my classic black converse and my leather high tops

3.  The perfect black ankle boots.  I wear my studded Topshop boots ALL the time!

4.  A basic stud earring, or simple ear climbers.  Something you can wear every day with any outfit!

5.  A matte lipstick in a pretty fall color like dark red, wine, or purple

Two infatuations

1.  My floppy, wide brim hat.  I love it and it makes me feel like I'm dressed like one of the leading ladies in a Cary Grant movie.  I love, love, love that hats are so in right now.  They've made a strong come back and I am so excited about it.

2.  A red lip.  There's just something about a bold red lip.  I was scared to try it for YEARS, but one day for some reason I just bought some red lipstick.  After I tried it, I felt empowered somehow and very feminine and strong.  My hubby likes it too, so it's a win/win.  I've linked a few different red options for those of you new to the lipstick game...

Casual fall weekend

It's been a long week, (aren't they all?) so this is my attempt at making sweats and a bomber look cool.  Personally I am tired and run down, and this is about the only outfit I could muster up to wear today, so I figured there are some of you out there who feel the same.  Here is a quick look I put together for those casual weekends when we don't have date nights or a girls night out planned.  I always try to finish with a cute jacket and lipstick to help feel at least somewhat put together.  Oh, and happy Fall!!  It's finally official!
