Fall trend: dark lips

Dark purples are huge right now, and the matte variety are especially big for fall.  I love the idea of a dark purple matte lip, cozy scarf and pumpkin spice latte.  It just screams fall.  I picked up these 2 colors to test before fall officially hits.  I think I like them!  What do you all think of the dark lip trend?
