Review of Beautycounter's Tint Skin Hydrating foundation

Okay, here it is. My review of Beautycounter’s tint skin foundation. A quick backstory…I have been using BC’s charcoal bar for about 2 years and I LOVE it. I’ve also tried an array of their skincare line, the eye cream, facial oils which I adore, and the adaptive moisture lotion is one of my absolute favorites! I have loved everything I’ve tried from their skincare line, so I had high hopes for the makeup as well.

I’m gonna be honest…I had read really great reviews of this foundation so I had really high expectations. Truthfully, I tried this foundation a few months ago and didn’t like it. I told my friend who had let me try it that I would mail it back to her! (sorry Katie!) I put it in the drawer and sort of forgot about it for a while. I just found it the other day and thought, I’m gonna give this another go!

My skin wasn’t in the best shape the first time I tried this, so I NEEDED a more full coverage foundation at that time. Also, I didn’t have all the facts. Now that I know what the product does, I will tell you what I think…and if after reading this, it sounds like it’s up your alley, then I say go for it! Here’s my take:

This is not a full coverage foundation

This foundation is sheer, gives light coverage, and slightly evens out your skin tone

It DOES come in a nice selection of color options

To me, this product feels more like a tinted moisturizer

It’s not cakey on your face, and does have a nice finish

If you’re not a big makeup wearer and you like a SUPER NATURAL look, this may be your new best friend!

I also adore the color pinch cream blusher which is also insanely natural. Paired these two products would be great for a light, NATURAL look!

Have you tried this product? If so, what is your take???
