Dressing down a pencil skirt

I used to love dressing up and wearing a pencil skirt in the days before I had kids. Now that I seemingly have nowhere to go other than the kids schools and play dates, I've had to get a little more creative with how I wear my pencil skirt. I decided why not wear one even if it's a casual day/evening or weekend. I've been pairing mine with a tee shirt that's loose and comfortable. Tuck it in a bit in the front to make it look more put together. You know I'm going to say pair it with converse, but if you want something else on your feet for this one, try a cute ankle bootie and you're all set!
