Hi!  I'm Anna, of Honestly West!  Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog.  I have always loved fashion. Even as a young teen I remember scouring through seventeen magazine and trying to put my own spin on outfits that I had seen and admired. Teenagers can be cruel though and most of the time when I attempted a different or unique outfit, I got teased for it or asked, “what are you wearing?” 20 years later, I still have that strong desire to create a unique, interesting look that is all my own. One that says, “Anna.” I find it liberating and fascinating and such an outlet for my creativity. What is to one person just getting dressed in the morning is to me an opportunity to show who I really am through my clothing choices.   That strong desire for fashion transcends into hair/makeup and interior design as well.  I just can't get enough!  Now I feel stronger and more able to handle the criticism. Life is short. Do what you really want to do...no matter what people may have to say.  Hence my quest to start a successful fashion blog. I'm gonna keep trying for as long as it takes.  Thank you for being behind me.  It makes all the difference and I have found it puts a little more bounce in my step.  So if that one little style tip or swipe of lipstick I've inspired you to try makes you smile just a little bit more, even if just for a day, than I've done my job.  Thank you so very much for stopping by Honestly West!
