Slip dress

I love love love a good slip dress.  So easy to downplay, or dress up.  I wanted to keep it casual so I paired it with my red converse for a fun pop of color and a light jacket.  A slip dress is such a good basic and is so fun to play around with!  Mine was purchased a few months back and is no longer available, but I linked a black option that would pretty much look good with anything!  Cheers to the weekend, friends!!  Thanks for stopping by HW!

Feelin a spring vibe

This week I pulled out three of my favorite pieces to create this fun and easy spring look!  Add in the the pastel pink hair (so fun and only temporary) and I'm definitely ready to kiss winter goodbye.  Anyone else sooo ready for spring to come?

Huge thank you to my friend Tonya for playing photographer so I could finally get a new post up NOT wearing a wedding gown.  That is fun too, but obviously not the norm.  Thanks for stopping by Honestly West!  I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Lazy day at the lake

I always feel happiest when I'm by the water.  This probably has to do with the fact that I grew up close to Lake Washington and the ocean.  Luckily Lake Norman is just across the street from us here in NC.  People always say, "why do you live by the lake?  Do you have a boat?"  I always chuckle to myself and can enjoy the water, calmness and beauty without being ON a boat.

This is a SUPER casual look, but I don't usually blog about leggings so I figured it was time.  I hope you all are having a lovely Saturday!

Alo yoga leggings (these are currently 30% off!!)

"Sister" faux leather jacket (my other half will be appearing soon, so stay tuned!!)
